EUNIC - European Union National Institutes for Culture

About us

The EUNIC (European Union National Institutes for Culture) cluster BIH was established in February 2008, gathering the four European Cultural Institutes in BiH and the cultural services of most of the Embassies of EU countries. A representative of the EU-Delegation BiH is also participating at the EUNIC BiH meetings. The aims of EUNIC BiH are to facilitate networking and contacts between its members and other cultural actors in BiH, to organize common projects in cooperation with partners from Bosnia and Herzegovina and to promote European values and mainly the value of cross-European cooperation and the diversity of European culture.

The cluster is organized around three types of activities: regular general meetings of its members, project and working groups, and other activities. The current chairperson of EUNIC BiH cluster is Domique Geslin, director of the Institut français de Bosnie-Herzegovine, elected in June 2011.
